Devbridge Foundation and Lithuanian Junior Achievement (LJA) have launched a national initiative introducing financial literacy and entrepreneurship lessons to 2,400 first-grade students in pilot schools across Lithuania. The initiative seeks to inspire other schools nationwide to integrate dedicated entrepreneurship education into their early curriculum.
Develop essential life skills from an early age: help children understand the value of money, decision-making, planning, and responsibility.
Link theory with practice: turn everyday subjects like math, language, and science into real-life learning experiences that strengthen critical thinking and creativity.
Equip teachers with innovative tools: provide structured, age-appropriate materials and methodologies for effective financial and entrepreneurial education.
Foster a culture of entrepreneurship: encourage curiosity, confidence, and initiative among young learners to see themselves as creators, not just consumers.
Early understanding of financial principles — saving, value creation, and responsible consumption.
Improved problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills among primary students.
Empowered teachers with access to a tested and replicable education model.
Scalable framework for introducing financial and entrepreneurship education across all Lithuanian schools.
For Devbridge Foundation, this initiative represents a long-term investment in Lithuania’s future — nurturing an innovative and ambitious generation that will build a strong, knowledge-driven economy. By expanding access to innovative learning and promoting entrepreneurship through partnerships, the Foundation helps Lithuanians create meaningful, visible impact both in Lithuania and beyond.
