Devbridge Foundation, together with the international performing arts festival ConTempo, is implementing a joint initiative in partnership with the Lithuanian Creative Technologies Academy bit&Byte and Herojus Progymnasium in Kaunas. The initiative aims to reduce disparities in access to cultural opportunities between children living in major cities and those in regional communities, ensuring that high-quality artistic and educational experiences are accessible to everyone.
The free initiative ConTempo for Kids, taking place during the 2026 festival, directly aligns with one of the Foundation’s strategic priorities — expanding access to innovative and inclusive educational opportunities. By investing in cultural accessibility, creativity development, and interdisciplinary experiences, the Foundation seeks to create opportunities for children to discover their potential at an early age, strengthen their self-confidence, and broaden their horizons through performing arts and technology-based experiences.

Expected Outcomes
Up to 340 children from regions across Lithuania will participate in the free educational and cultural program ConTempo for Kids in 2026.
Children from different Lithuanian cities and towns will have the opportunity to participate in creative workshops, meet artists, and experience professional performing arts live.
Cultural and technology-based activities will help develop creativity, social competencies, and problem-solving skills while encouraging greater engagement and building children’s self-confidence.
Greater access to high-quality cultural experiences will help reduce cultural and social disparities between urban and regional communities, while sustainable travel experiences will strengthen children’s understanding of safe and responsible mobility.
About ConTempo
ConTempo is the largest international performing arts festival of its kind in Lithuania, taking place in Kaunas and Kaunas district since 2019. Through art, the festival seeks to create meaningful change – not only by presenting world-class performing arts but also by increasing cultural accessibility for diverse communities.
People are at the heart of the festival: curious, open-minded individuals seeking new experiences and ready to explore performing arts through dialogue, creativity, and active participation.
By collaborating with local and international partners, ConTempo continuously expands its reach, strengthens its connections with regional communities, and creates a lasting impact on Lithuania’s cultural ecosystem.
