The “Devbridge Foundation” initiative aims to expand access to knowledge by helping Lithuanian schools integrate advanced AI tools developed by local EdTech startups.
“LEARN on.ai” is an initiative bringing together cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools for Lithuanian schools. It enables schools to adopt engaging, personalized AI solutions created by Lithuanian startups. The initiative's goal is to expand access to knowledge and empower both students and teachers—especially in regional areas - by bridging the digital divide and preventing a new gap between those who can leverage AI and those who cannot yet.
During the 2025 - 2026 academic year, the initiative aims to train more than 1,000 teachers and reach over 12,000 students across approximately 50 schools in Lithuanian cities and regions.
Schools are invited to choose the AI EdTech startup that best fits their needs. Each partner will distribute licenses to schools they select, giving priority to regional institutions. The specific selection criteria are published by each partner on their own website.

Challenges we address
- Poor LT student performance: 20th place vs. Estonia 1st.
- 57% of teachers are over 50 - oldest in Europe, 2nd oldest worldwide.
- Only 1/3 of teachers know AI tools, rarely use them.
- 69% of regional graduates skip university studies.
Advantages of AI tools in the education system
- 30-60% faster personalized learning.
- Better critical thinking, tech literacy, and creativity.
- Better access in regions, inclusion of SEN students.
- Higher results, greater classroom engagement.
- Lower teacher workload, more efficient complex tasks.
To address low teacher self-efficacy and ensure ethical use of innovation, responsibly pilot AI tools in schools, involve students, and provide teachers with training, technology, and funding support.
